Saltergate Gallows Map 2010


This event takes place in ‘Heartbeat’ country and if you have watched the series, one of the main introductory shots is taken from the race’s start point. Registration for this event is in the car park at Saltergate Bank top 853938.

Route change for 2010: "The Saltergate is the same opening loop but the descent is not at the wooden steps but some kilometre further so that you descend where you would have ascended towards the finish. The forest loop is then reversed and you ascend towards the finish by the underpass at the station and then up the wooden steps. Essentially therefore a figure of eight.
