Comments:

A very wet weekend even for Britain. It rained again half an hour after the start so very wet underfoot became 100% precipitation. We managed to dodge the motorbikes and the extreme cloudbursts half an hour later. Roger Tomlin was an easy winner in the men's getting away after only about a quarter distance. Whilst in the women's event Hester Butterworth was also a comfortable winner.

Many thanks to Scarborough AC. for setting out and marshalling the course and also to the local farmer for access to the Cricket Field and The village Hall. Hope to see you at Roseberry on 22nd July..... Dave
