The North East’s Premier Fell Running Club “Step by Step to Success” ooops you should’t be here! Welcome to our Web Site. We are a club (formed in April 2009) for people who are interested in Mountain and Hill Running and Mountain Biking. Some of us take part in Adventure Races so we also support climbing, sailing , swimming and canoeing. We have an open membership to those who are 14 years or older. We will also admit younger runners/bikers as associate members. Having said that all our current members are 16 years plus with the biggest group being 30 to 45 year olds. Our members prefer to run and bike off road. So why not join us? Membership is only £10 for each year. We currently organise 22 hill races in the North East of England mainly on The North York Moors. We currently only organise one Mountain Bike Race but would like to expand this section. We provide support for our members to take part in events. We generally target at least one race in the Cleveland Area each month. (Guisborough, Stokesley, Gt. Ayton, Middlesbrough, Whitby and other venues) as well as one out of the area - usually The Lake District or The Dales). To travel to these events we share transport and provide some measure of support. This is a brand new web site as of 15th July 2009 which is developing, so why not visit us regularly?
